Yes I didn’t go into that as much as I should have. There are just so many ways things can turn out differently than what Bostrom postulates. The people of a hundred years ago could not imagine our society. So how can we project the capabilities and motivations of a society tens of thousands or more years away? Yet Bostrom presents it all as a logical inevitability.
