I'm not a materialist, but I also can't really accept the "bubble" consciousness simulation you suggest. You would at least need to acknowledge some kind of co-creation with other conscious entities wouldn't you? "Simulation", the way you are using it, seems to mean something like idealism, which I think is not good enough, since it does not offer any explanation for a consistent shared reality that appears to transcend personal phenomenology.
