Well, I get where you’re coming from and even partly agree. We created an intellectual framework for understanding the world (materialism) then couldn’t reconcile our own subjective existence with that framework. Oops. But this intellectual framework is immensely culturally and practically powerful. To challenge it, one has to play the philosophical game even though you’re right in saying that reality transcends such games.
