There are countless upsides to being inside the Trump administration, which will be a feeding frenzy of unconstrained capitalism riddled with grift and overt conflict of interest. What surprises me is Musk backing him despite Trump wanting to end EV subsidies. But perhaps he thinks he can talk Trump round on that, or maybe the other advantages of being a fox in the henhouse are just too good to pass up.
