Thanks for the voice of sanity. I myself wrote a piece on the more general point of the critical importance of nuance in all our discussions of sensitive topics. It was nominated for a boost but rejected by medium editorial, probably for being too “challenging” for the poor, weak-minded reader. Yet in this age of political hysteria and generalized mob mentality, there seem to be few more important messages. You’ve made the point eloquently.
