But until I went down this line of reasoning, the notion of one mind that is core to eastern philosophy was something to take on faith as it were, because sages had meditated their way to the realisation. This logic forced me to the conclusion that accepting the idea of unitary consciousness is unavoidable from quite minimal assumptions.
