Nah, c’mon. Lawrence Krauss is wrong here - philosophically not scientifically. The quantum field is not nothing. And the symmetry breaking which caused the extra particles requires explanation, as do all the other laws of physics and so on. This is all a long way from nothing and does not answer the metaphysical problem at all. Of course that does not mean you have to invoke God though.
