It's not so much about what body a brain ends up in. Your dog's brain in your body - if such a thing were possible - would result in a very confused dog that looked like you. And the opposite would result in a very pissed you stuck in a dog. However, yes in principle it does apply. It's just that if mental space is a space that depends on the configuration of thinking objects like brains, then dog minds are much further away in that space than other human minds.
