Hi. Yes your love of connecting with trees is part of your personality or your identity. It’s part of what makes you you, as distinct from others. The idea here is that this distinction is a separation in the configuration of your mind, not a separation in your “being” itself. So you are a separate individual but your separateness is also a kind of illusion or perspective. It’s not absolutely real.
